Diesel Generator/Welding Equipment Repair Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled Welding Equipment Repair Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our welding equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical repair, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.

• Diagnose and repair welding equipment and generators, including MIG, TIG, stick welders, and plasma cutters.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
• Keep detailed records of equipment repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts inventory
• Order and replace parts as needed
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Prior experience in equipment repair and/or maintenance on diesel engines and small engines
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnosing and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
• Valid driver's license

Salary: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Experience:

• Electrical/Mechanical: 3-5 years (Required)
• Small Diesel Engine experience a plus
