Robotic Welding Operator

J&J Truck Bodies & Trailers is seeking a 2nd shift Robotic Welding Operator who will set up and operate Fanuc robotic welding equipment to weld together fabricated metal components of products such as dump bodies and trailers, specialty vehicles, and related subassemblies; and custom fabrications made of carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum with MIG welding equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate robotic welding equipment such as our Fanuc parts robotic cell and our Fanuc understructure/sides robotic cell.
• Set up jigs and fixtures to hold, secure, and brace parts and assemblies for tacking and robotic welding.
• Load, unload, and finish weld aluminum or steel understructure, sides, and weldments.
• Has demonstrated competency in the duties and responsibilities of a Senior Welder.
• Safely perform duties; wear required PPE at all times.
• Observes and complies with all provisions of the ISO 9001 QMS.

Education and Experience

• Vocational/technical training needed or a high school diploma or general education degree with work experience in an industrial setting. Welding and Fanuc robotic welding experience preferred.
