Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market. **Role Summary** We are searching for a Welding Operator to perform the duties below. Experience in TIG welding required and experience working with aluminum strongly preferred. **Key Responsibilities** + Operating machines or using manual methods in a safe manner to meet production goals. + Assess welds to ensure cleanliness and within designated specifications of customer requirements. + Repair robot welds as needed + Conduct test to evaluate weld quality + Collaborate with engineeringing to address issues + Reads and follows all work instructions and standard operating procedures. + Ensures compliance with all safety and quality standards. Reports any deviations immediately. + Trains other employees as needed. **Key Qualifications/Requirements** + Graduation from related trade school or high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least 1-3 years of related experience or combination of education and experience. + 1-3 years of experience TIG welding. Experience with aluminum strongly preferred. + Knowledge and ability to assess metal structures to identify and initiate repair of damaged welds. + Ability to measure close tolerances (Metric & Imperial) + Knowledge and ability to use small tools, operate air/hand tool, welders, grinder and buffing machines. **Additional Information** + Work is performed in a manufacturing setting which requires the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and safety shoes with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. + Ability to work overtime in accordance with policies and procedures. + Ability to perform work while standing or walking a minimum of eight (8) hours a day. + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. is required. + Ability to work in a hot environment **Awareness.
